City tour of Nashville

We took a Greyline tour of Nashville.

This is the first bridge in Nashville. It is a pedestrian bridge.

Went on a self guided tour of the Ryman Auditorium.

Then we saw a little of downtown

There are about 600 bars in Nashville. Also 600 churchs which makes you wonder how this statue got approved.
It's called musica it is a bunch of naked people frolicking around. It is in the center of music row and it is supposed to depict the freedom of music.

Studio B where Elvis and many others recorded their hits.

On to the country music hall of fame.

An 1851 Martin guitar

Elvis' solid gold Cadillac

He had a state of the art sound system include a turntable with automatic record changer.

There were probably over 100 display country artists with their outfits and instruments
Note the safety pin collar.

It was a cool building.

Me taking a rest after a worlwind tour of the museum.

Tonight we are off to the grand ole Opry
